The bible says the most powerful weapon that we possess is the tongue and the words that come off the tongue. I feel passionate that if you are speaking then you should be trying to change the word or making someone feel better. Your words should never be irrelevant unless they are inspiring laughter which is always good for the heart. Words are all we really ever own. It's possible for those words to become invaluable just like if someone was making counterfeit currency then the value of the dollar would go down. Words to me are precious and should used only when necessary. Sometimes when you just talk constantly its very easy to say the wrong thing thats why we must be careful. Like the saying goes with great power brings great responsibility. My mama always said if you say something you mean because it comes from the heart. I'm not saying I'm saint I mess up and fall short but I do my best to keep my close to prevent mistakes. I feel that as humans we should value our words just as much as we value the clothes we wear and the music we listen to. You should always have in your possessions kind words, wise words, and words that are ever changing. This is the future our words will influence and effect our children so we should never forget the importance of what comes from the tongue. The tongue is a powerful tool and should be used with caution and sparingly. Proverbs: Mizaru (sees no evil), Kikazaru (hears no evil), Iwazaru (speaks no evil), and sometimes Shizaru (do no evil) in western world often means turning a blind eye to wrongdoing. I often feel that any other time you can speak but when you need to can't get two words from you. So I would encourage everyone by living by example that a life without words is not a life unfulfil but instead a life of greater proportions.
