Aug 19 diet journal

1:12 am I'm eating an orange and anticipating breakfast at 7 am in the morning. My first class isn't until noon so I have alot of time on my hands to sleep. I guess is the reason why I don't worry about sleep like normal people at night I sleep whenever I want to sleep. My belly hurts maybe i shouldn't eat this orange. I might wait until a little later. Its 3:20 am and I just found this new thing call ayurveda well my dosha is vata and apparently my vata is imbalance which explains why i haven't been sleeping and feeling so crappy lately lol not to mention my breathe jeez lol i think I should do something about this vata thing. Its amazing because I'm doing research on other countries and their eating habits and its amazing to find that southeastern asians and asians eat very little meat. And I already know muslims don't eat pork and I've been wanting to adopt that same habit also I don't like everyone shrimp because everyone doesn't clean it right. Also I want to cut of the red meat and minimize my amount of meat altogether. I even consider becoming a vegetarian at one point I figure the lifestyle would have been to hard considering I would have to look to other sources for protein. But asians don't drink much milk or eat eggs hell I eat eggs everyday lol So yeah i can see why americans are fat lmao Oh man after looking at foods high in sugar and fat no wonder I gain weight I eat sugar more than I eat water. Ketchup and pudding and jello and canned fruits with syrup in it. Wow! I feel kinda sick thinking about all the fat and sugar I have been eating without realizing it because its just so traditional here no wonder I'm so freaking off balance. Starting today I will do better slowly but surely. So according to research I'm suppose to have breakfast morning snack lunch afternoon snack dinner then a night snack. So starting at 8am and saying if I go to bed around 11 or 12 thats 15 hours breakfast at 8am a snack at 10 lunch at 12 snack at 2 dinner at 4 then a snack around 6,7,or 8pm 8 being the latest. Avoid foods high in sugar,sodium,and fat. Ramen noodles bad,jello bad, pudding bad apple juice bad twizzler extra bad. Too too much meat we eat meat like at every meal. Ways to avoid being gassy: chew thoroughly, don't drink water with food, don't lie down after eating go walking, avoid overeating. According asian diets eggs and sweets weekly and meat monthly and fish and dairy optional daily. So now its 4:47am I'm hungry so I'm going to eat that orange now lol. Ate the orange still going to breakfast at 7am lol.I went to breakfast at 7am and I ate two pancakes syrup and water. At 10 I ate an orange fell asleep almost miss lunch. I ate applesauce at 1pm and then I ate two servings of pinapples at 2pm. So I should be good until 4pm which is dinner. At dinner I had a chicken sandwich with mayo and mustard a garden salad with ranch on the side and collard greens and a glass of fruit punch. At a little after 8pm I ate an orange which was my evening snack. And I just whether is it possible to eat too much fruits and yes it is possible but I'm doing the right thing by trading my fruits for vegetables and eating an orange. Yay!! I also walked to the store today which is like 10 minutes away in a car but by foot it took me an hour and I got some green tea, seasoning with no calories for my noodles, some other healthy food. Rice krispie treats can and are healthy how about that. Satisfied sweet tooth. Drink alot of water today so I'm slowly working on balancing out my vata. Still not sure what I'm going to do about my hair since its so hard to find someone to start my dreads might just let it grow. Its not completely natural but for the most part the roots are natural. So its officially 10:36 p.m. and I'm going to bed because I'm tired after dancing and walking and walking some more time to go nite nite.
